Mary's February Scheme is now open for bookings! The scheme will run from 14th - 18th February 2022.

We are open to all children aged 6-12, who are residents of Islington or who attend an Islington school.

We have places for 25 children per day.

All our places receive a funding subsidy leaving a fee of  £22/day 9 am to 5 pm for parents to cover. Extended sessions are available for an additional £3 for an earlier start from 8.30 am or for a later finish at 5.30 pm, £6 for both.

You will need to book any additional extended time at the same time when selecting your core days. We will not be able to offer sibling discounts on this occasion. A minimum of 3 days must be booked. We will prioritise bookings made for the full scheme so we can maximise our available capacity.

We continue to care for vulnerable children and we have a limited number of reserved places. Families will need to be referred by a school or other social care service. The places for vulnerable children will be fully funded and will need admin approval first.  If you think your child may be eligible contact us directly to be assessed for a free vulnerable child's place or to discuss your child's additional needs via the [email protected] e-mail or by calling us/leaving us a message on 0207 7042873. All children with additional needs will need to send a copy of the child's medical action plan with medication e.g. epi-pen and/or EARLY CHILD HEALTH (ECH) plan and receive a discount

If you claim due to low income We may be able to give you a discount, so please enquire before booking.

Please read through all of the below information before you book.

For the safety of everyone involved, children, parents and staff, we have put in place a range of measures designed to minimise the risk of the spread and infection of the COVID-19 virus. You can read our full COVID Risk Assessment via this link. Please do a lateral flow test before sending your child in and report this to us if it is positive.

We will need everyone’s support to keep to these measures. Please inform staff at reception if your child has felt unwell 48hrs before coming to the scheme, this includes presenting with a temperature, new cough and flu-like symptoms. Please speak to staff if you have any questions or concerns regarding this. Ill children pose a threat to the scheme being closed for everyone else so please be considerate and inform us of ill health.

LUNCHES - Please provide a healthy packed lunch for your child and a bottle of water which can be refilled with fresh water during the day. It is important that children have the opportunity to be re-hydrated during the day. ensure all bags and bottles are labelled clearly with their name as children often have similar items.
We are a nut-free setting. Please ensure chocolate, sweets and fizzy drinks are not included in your child's lunch bag. This includes Nutella spreads on bread.
VOLUNTEERING - If you have some spare time and would like to help support us during the playscheme please get in touch with us using the volunteer form and we will come back to you with the details.

Drop-offs and Pick Ups

To minimise person to person spreading of the COVID-19 virus, we will ask parents to drop off and pick up their children at the main entrance to the Centre and not come into the building at all. We ask parents to form a socially distanced orderly queue outside the entrance to the Community Centre.

Remember - You must not bring your child to the scheme if they or anyone else in the household developed Coronsvirus Symptoms or tested positive with COVID-19/Omnicom! Equally, if your child is feeling generally unwell please inform us and keep them at home.
