Mary's Summer Play Scheme is now open for bookings and will run for a 4 week period from Wed 22nd July to Tue 18th August.

Due to the expected social distancing measures, the overall number of places will be limited and we will continue to prioritize children of critical workers.   We have a limited number of free spaces for vulnerable children and discounts for children with additional needs. You will need to contact us directly to be assessed for a free vulnerable child's place or to discuss your child's additional needs via the [email protected] e-mail or by calling us between 9 am and 5 pm on 0207 7042873.

We expect to be able to cater for 24 children per day and children will be allocated to be in one of three bubbles for the duration of their time with us.

Places will cost £24/day and extended hours are available at an additional cost. Please book this at the same time when selecting your core days. We will not be able to offer sibling discounts on this occasion.

Please read through all of the below before you book.

For the safety of everyone involved, children, parents and staff, we have put in place a range of measures designed to minimise the risk of the spread and infection of COVID-19 virus.

We will need everyone’s support to keep to these measures.

Places in "Bubbles"

The Play Scheme will provide places for up to a maximum of 24 children.  Children will be allocated to one of three small groups or “bubbles” with a dedicated staff member for each.

Every member of the bubble will be colour coded (with wrist bands). Children will have to stay in the same bubble throughout the scheme and not mix with any individuals from a different colour-coded bubble (staff or children).

We will operate a minimum of 3 separate designated areas in Mary’s Community Centre. These will be the  Johnston room, Garden room and Sports Hall.  Each “bubble” will stay in one of of these three rooms throughout the day unless otherwise instructed.  Each group will have its designated separate toilet, which will be colour coded also.

Groups will move to a different room each day in order to have a chance to take part in all of the activities on offer during the scheme. The rooms will be disinfected overnight.

Drop-offs and Pick Ups

In order to minimise person to person spreading of the COVID-19 virus, we will ask parents to drop off and pick up their children at the main entrance to the Centre and not come into the building at all. We ask parents to form a socially distanced orderly queue outside the entrance to the Community Centre.
