It gives us an opportunity to share our passion for Youth Work, and gives corporate teams the chance to give something back to their local community.
We currently have two main areas that we welcome volunteers
Help support sessions by designing and creating resources we can use.
If you’re a competitive team we are very happy to rate and score your efforts and reward the winners!
Our needs vary throughout the year depending on where we are in the programme, but here are some ideas:
Create hampers and gift bags, to be used a prizes
We have a warm family style meal every Friday night, help create craft based centre pieces and table settings for a themed night
Build your own board and/or card games for the young people to play
Design us a scavenger hunt (if you're into tech GPS is encouraged!)
We love to party! So construct us a pinata or other classic party games
Purchase and wrap gifts for the young people (this is great during festive periods, but is welcome all year round, who doesn't love receiving a gift!)

During term time we provide food at every session, from snacks and light bites to a warm family style meal every Friday. In the holiday periods we provide lunch and/or dinner at every activity and three+ meals a day for every young person on one of our five annual residentials.
With a 351 day programme that’s around 400 meals (over 100,000 portions of food). That’s a lot of food!
This where you can help us with, by taking part in a competitive trolley dash, or cooking and baking for the young people.
Some examples of activities include:
Shop for food and design meal plans and menus for the month
Help prep for the evening meal!
Create, then shop for a mocktail menu that you can either then make with the young people (if you want to!)
The most creative way of getting the most amount of vegetables into a meal
We give you the list then see whose team can haggle for their way to get the items as cheaply as possible
This can be anything, but we particularly love a themed bake-off (valentines day, halloween)
