Mary’s is a youth charity, that relies on charitable grants and donations (as well as the funds generated through the sales of our First Aid training courses) to provide vital support to young people

Your support funds meals

75% of our young people are entitled to free school meals

What we do

312 term time activities with snacks

Last year we provided 50 free Friday night dinners

55 school holiday activities with meals

 

What we spend

£25 donation can feed 25 young people one Friday night meal

Last year we spent £300 on bread alone

£250 can feed 12 young people on a three day holiday camp

Your support provides education and employment

What we do

Last year 35 young people were taught First Aid

We gave out 110 awards and accreditations

We employed 9 young people aged 16-25

What we Spend

 

£500 can start a social enterprise action project

£95 can get a young person a L1 Basketball Coaching Qualification

 £100 can pay for the kit for a young person to participate in the Duke of Edinburgh Awards

Your support offers experiences, fun and friendships

What we do

Mary’s has over 250 regular members, aged 10-19

We ran over 550 activities last year

We engaged in over 20 arts and cultural experiences

What we spend

£100 pays for a three hour Dodgeball Tournament

£30 can buy a table tennis bat and ball set

£160 hires a minibus for the day
