From 1st April 2023, Mary’s early years, childcare and community facilities will transfer over to St Mary’s Church and will no longer be part of Mary’s work. This means that after nearly 14 years, we are kicking off a new chapter and exploring ways that we can develop, whilst still sticking to our core goal of offering local youth services and developing Islington’s youth sector. This new phase does come with important changes to how our charity will operate and fund itself. So, to fill this gap these services leave, we have been working to develop a first aid training business and a range of other professional development courses. These will not only allow us to flex new muscles and reach new people but will also create invaluable income streams, so we can continue our all-important charity work in the community.
