Ages 16-25

This valuable accredited one day course is a boost to any CV but more importantly it may help you to save a life. It is a purely practical course, there will be no written work. The syllabus includes how to diagnose and deal with minor injuries, shock, burns, epilepsy, bleeding and unconsciousness. As well as understanding first aid priorities you will learn about

• Examination of a casualty
• Basic life support
• Managing, recording and reporting incidents
• Regulations
• First aid kits

Certification

Certification is dependent on successful continuous assessment of the student. Those students who complete the course and are deemed to have reached the required standard are issued with a certificate that is valid for three years.
