We’re proud to announce that we’re a delivery partner with London Youth for this year’s Rise Up programme!
Over the last three years, Rise Up has succeeded in deepening youth practitioners’ skills, networks, and practice. Hundreds of alumni continue to use their strengthened knowledge to support young people more effectively.

We’ll be working alongside organisations that do incredible and important work including London’s VRU, LEAP, Feeling Social, Clore Social Leadership, and Power the Fight.
Many young Londoners experience the devastating effects of violence and the emotional and mental trauma that accompanies it. To address the causes and impact, we need to ensure they are receiving good youth work and support.
The Rise Up leadership programme develops youth practitioners’ skills and confidence, enabling them to better support young Londoners. By investing directly in frontline youth work professionals and their organisations, the programme works to strengthen London’s youth sector and sector-based networks.
Mary’s is committed to upskilling youth workers and the sector as a whole, done through their training offer, QLIP, and the ethos of our team.
“Mary’s has benefited from the Rise Up since it’s pilot year. We’ve seen first hand how it upskills and develops confident youth practitioners. We are thrilled to join year four of the Rise Up programme as a delivery partner and take our learning from our Islington QLIP project pan-London.”
