Learn about our services, pick up a range of new skills and contribute

We regularly welcome students as part of our team at Mary’s Youth Club and find that these partnerships are always mutually beneficial.

We have the following Student Placements available:

Youth and community work students

Levels 4, 5, 6 and 7

At Marys Youth Club , we’re excited to offer student Youth Workers supervised practice, placements .

We follow the JNC (Joint Negotiating Committee) standards for youth work qualifications, ensuring that students gain valuable hands-on experience in a real-world youth work setting.

This is a fantastic opportunity for students to develop their skills, receive guidance, and become fully competent in their role, all while making a positive impact on the lives of young people.

We’re here to support students every step of the way as they grow into confident, skilled youth workers.

Health and social care students

Level 3

At Mary’s Youth Club, we’re proud to offer Level 3 students the opportunity to gain valuable, hands-on experience through placements in youth work.

Our placements provide a chance to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting, working alongside our team to support and empower young people in the community. Whether it’s assisting with activities, delivering workshops, or engaging with our members, students will develop essential skills for a career in youth work (or other helping professions).

We’re committed to supporting students as they build their experience and gain confidence.
