Demonstrating Impact in Youth Work (Islington)

How do we know youth work is working?

Organisations and funders want to understand the impact youth work has for the young people we are supporting.

Funders need to feel confident that they are investing in something meaningful and worthwhile.

The MEL Process (Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning) can hard to action in Practice, designing and implimenting tools that capture the data and allow room for improvement.

As youth workers, we see the positive changes every day, but we also need to learn how to translate those real-life outcomes into measurable evidence that we can share with others.

Across the borough of Islington, we benefit from the  QLIP Impact Framework.

Divided into 4 outcome areas, it offers a range of tools to capture indictors , breaking down all the great stuff we see into data that can be evaluated and communicated to others.

QLIP (a partnership between London Youth & Marys Youth Club)  are very pleased to present the 3rd annual Young Islington Impact Report.
