Whist we are paper light at Marys there’s still scanning, shredding, printing and collating documents. Editing newsletters, answering phones and responding to web-based enquiries and more!
You’ll work closely with our Business Operations Manager and fundraising sub-committee to organise and promote annual community events, fundraising initiatives and campaigns, and market workshops and training events delivered to the wider community and corporate sectors.
These roles would free up the Youth workers to spend even more time with young people and could include cooks, leaflet promotion (door drops) setting up and packing away or being able to drive a minibus.
Marys have an amazingly committed board of trustees but that doesn’t mean we don’t have room for more. Trustees must ensure that the charity is run in accordance with its governing document, and in compliance with charity law and all other laws and regulations affecting its remit. In addition to laws and regulations, all charities must be operated for public benefit.
